Well, the Journal didn't work out, so here's an RPG. [ATTN: adifferentcity: If you'll notice, my layout is somewhat similar to yours on GameFAQs. Please don't be mad at me. It was a very good layout of rules. Great idea. If you didn't notice it was similar, pretend you never read this. Lol. ] (WARNING: LONG POST!)
RULES:
In this RPG, you will be in a position. You can be many different things at a time, but I must warn you: If you are a knight for the Legion and a thief on the side, it will cause trouble. (Or a Vampire in the Virtuous Blood. Things like that.) You can have no more than one position in the same section at a time; You must start at the lowest rank, then work your way up using quests. If all of the lower ranks are taken, wait until said people rise up then take the spot for yourself or just join another Order/Guild/etc. After choosing your positions, make a character in ESIV, put all of its info (name, gender, etc.), then make a background story. After you've done all of that, just put things you are doing in your Order/Guild/etc. and what experience you acquire. Here's an example of what a Character bio might look like:
Name: Example
Gender: Male
Race: Nord
Eye Color: Blue
Hair: Natural
Birthsign: Mage
Class: Mage
(Custom Class: Killer-- Specialty: Magic
Major Attributes: Willpower, Intelligence
Major Skills: Illusion, Destruction, etc. [While posting a real Custom Class, put all of the info. I put "etc" because I'm lazy.])
Back-story: His parents died. He became an emo. He killed himself. Lol. [Don't put anything like this. Again, I'm lazy.)
Now for the Story:
"..... It's been centuries since Oblivion's Gates have been a problem. Ever since that brave Warrior put the world of Oblivion away, no one has even chose to speak of it. My Forefathers trusted that Warrior with the Amulet of the Kings. The Warrior risked his life to save all of Cyrodiil. I'm sure if anyone chose to speak of these past events, his name is sure be mentioned in each and every story told.
The Warrior now watches over Cyrodill in the stars, hoping what he had dealt with would not happen to his decedent, Greywyn. Sadly, for him and all else, his hopes have been denied. The once great Empire is once again beginning to crumble as Oblivion's power is in the process of revival. The foul creatures will soon return. It seems as though we have been sent back to the age of the Imperial Empire, instead of this Untied Empire between all races and all cities. We seem to be back at the age wherein my Forefathers were all slain by the Mythic Dawn and Oblivion's creatures overran the Empire. But this time feels different... This time...
To quote my Forefather, Uriel Septim, 'These are the closing days of the fourth year... And the final hours... Of my life.'..." -- Uriel Septim: Named after his Forefather... To carry on his spirit...
... Greywyn looked around. All he saw were trees and plains that seemed to stretch on forever in the dark, shadowy night. He began to doze off when he heard the galloping steps of a horse and the voice of an Imperial Legion Soldier.
"Everything seems clear." The guard muttered to himself. "No problems. Well, my shift is about over. I'd best get back to the city." The guard reported to himself as he shifted his horse towards the Imperial City. Greywyn was never noticed by the guard.
"It wouldn't be the first time I was unnoticed." Greywyn muttered. "Curse my Forefather. Pushing his way of life unto me." Greywyn stood up and continued to rant. "I want to be a Warrior, like Hanei. He was a great man and saved all of Cyrodill from destruction. I would give anything to be his descendant. Anything at all..." Greywyn sighed, ignorant to the fact that his Forefather was Hanei. No one told him this and he had a troubled life because of it. He laid back down into his small tent as he heard thunder rumbling in the distance. He let his eyes close then listened closely. The thunder rumbled again.
"It's coming closer. I should find better shelter." Greywyn whispered as he got back up and ran towards the Imperial City. Rain began to pelt down on him as he swam across the great lake separating his camp from the City. Thunder crashed and rumbled the ground as Greywyn froze in his tracks.
"Wait... This isn't a thunderstorm..." Greywyn began under his own breath but was interrupted by another crash, which cracked several rocks. He frantically looked around and saw the sky turn a blood-red color. Greywyn then heard a voice.
"Greywyn..." The low, rumbling voice shook the ground and struck a sense of fear through Greywyn's heart. "Descendant of Hanei... Do not meddle with out affairs like he did... Don't get yourself killed..." The words filled Greywyn with confusion.
"Descendant of... Hanei?" Greywyn inquired under his breath as the low rumble seemed to fade away...
