I would like to know as well. Although I've seen some gameplay videos and I'm interested, I'd like to know if there is a good storyline.

In my opinion, the storyline of Morrowind far surpasses that of Oblivion. Far surpasses; it's not even a contest, really.
Basically, thousands of years ago, a Chimer named Nerevar brought peace between the dwarves and the Chimer, but then war erupted because the king of the dwarves, Kagrenac, was tampering with the heart of Lorkan, the heart of a god. This went against the Chimer's religion, so they went to war. In order to defeat the dwarves, Nerevar united the great houses and the Ashlander tribes. There was a huge battle on the volcano in the center of Morrowind in which Nerevar and his close friends and advisors, including Vivec, Almelexia, Sotha Sil, and Dagoth Ur, recovered Kagrenac's tools, used to open the heart of Lorkan, shortly after Kagrenac tried to use it and accidentally destroyed the entire Dwemer species. Nerevar was mortally wounded in the battle and died in Red Mountain. Dagoth Ur went crazy for power or something and tried to take the heart for his own use. Vivec, Almelexia, and Sotha Sil fought against him and won, driving him deep down into the volcano. Vivec, Almelexia, and Sotha Sil then used the Heart of Lorkan to turn themselves into gods and formed a new religion about themselves. Azura, the god, didn't like this, and cursed the Chimer, turning their skin dark and their eyes red. The Chimer became Dunmer.
Now, thousands of years later, the Tribunal, the new religion worshiping Vivec, Almelexia, and Sotha Sil, ruled over Morrowind and Dagoth Ur, still in the volcano, uses ash and blight storms to torment the people of Morrowind and is raising an army of monsters to rise against the Tribunal and take the heart's power for himself. The people of Morrowind, especially the Ashlanders, prophecise the return of Nerevar as the Nerevarine who will come and right all wrongs, unite the three great houses and the four Ashlander tribes, and bring Morrowind back to it's days of glory. This is where you come in. You were a prisoner of the Empire who was released and sent to Morrowind to work for the blades. Your job, you eventually learn, is to find the Nerevarine, which the Emperor believes to be in Morrowind.
I don't quite care to ruin the ending for you, so I won't. Much of the information I have given you is an extremely brief overview of one of the side of the story. In reality, no one knows what happened on Red Mountain, the volcano, but some say Vivec, Almelexia, and Sotha Sil actually killed Nerevar. It is never really spelled out to the player; he instead must garner the information from word of mouth and a few historical texts, none of which go very in-depth.

Ohh, thanks. I heard Morrowind was much much harder also. It didn't have map markers on the map or anything. You had to find it yourself.

Yep, no fast travel. I loved Morrowind but the graphics turn me away as I have played Oblivion for too long.

Graphics don't bother me much. It's like the icing on top of a cake of great gameplay, music, story, etc. And cake is just fine without icing.
...even though it's a lie...

Easy way to improve Morrowind's graphics (possibly beyond the level of Oblivion's) and implement fast travel: 1. Get a computer. 2. Buy the PC version of Morrowind. 3. Download mods. 4. Enjoy!
