You find yourself in a dark room. You hear someone:
"Take a seat."
You obey and sit down on the chair place in front of you. You see a shadowy figure in the corner of the room and begin to hear the same voice.
"So, you're the new war general. Humph. A mediocre general, if you ask me. You look like you don't even know what's going on."
"... Um, actually, I'm a replacement for the chosen general. He's sick with the flu. I'm just the "runner-up", you might say. So I'm really not sure what's going on," you reply.
"Tch. Then I gotta explain everything to ya? How cozy." You begin to see the voice is coming from the figure, which begins to come out of the shadows. As you predicted, it's a very stern-looking man, with army clothes on and several medals. You assume he's had a lot of experience.
"Okay, I'll start of with the Basics. First of all, we're at war. Our soldiers are nothing without a general and since our chosen general is.. sick.. apparently, you're stuck with- I, mean.. given the job. So, here's the lowdown."
You will have five soldiers to start with, since we don't want you sending too many soldiers to their death. To recruit a soldier, you must pay $20. The head agency takes care of most of the money, but they can't afford spending all the money. Moving on, you get $100 for every enemy base you conquer, and vice versa. You can reclaim your base if it is captured. However, if there are enemy forces in the base, you must engage in battle in order to attempt getting your base back. This applies for enemy bases, as well. While both sides are trying to build up their forces, there will be assaults. If you don't play on the offense, you won't stand a chance. When you think you have enough forces, attack the enemy. And when they attack, you better be sure you'll win that battle.
Next, we'll discuss bases. As mentioned before, you get $100 for every enemy base you conquer, et cetera. But, the main bases of each side are the most important. Should these bases be conquered, it's over for that side. Which is why you should attack constantly and defend the best you can.
You will be given $100 and five soldiers to start with. Good luck.
