The graphics and the ability to mod the game make the pc version A+. Vista, unfortunatly, slows things down a great deal. Momiji has Vista, I believe.

I run Vista - as well as around thirty mods - and the framerate only drops when I enter my house; it has a high fog setting, intricate lights, a huge swimming pool, a large number of mannequins sporting armor, and about twenty companions milling about. Even then, it's barely noticable. You just need to tweak the settings a bit, I think.

I'm not talking about on Morrowind. Vista runs morrowind fine as it only uses about 256 RAM max. I have a 2GB vista and it lags to run 1GB games. Just to run the pretty Vista operating system takes up about 512MB of memory. I read one quote on the Bethesda forum that said "gaming on Vista is like running a marathon with a fat lady on your back"

What about running it on Windows XP? How bad would it be then?

XP runs just fine. I used to run it on there and it was completely smooth. I only have 1GB of RAM too.

The best part was that it came with the expansions.

I love the expansions. What's the place that's all cold and wintery?

I'm not sure...I never advanced far enough to get to there. I did love the dark assassins that would attack you in their sleep. I loved their armor...
