As long as you don't atract any trolls or anything you should be fine. Just keep doing what you are doing.

S'krivva's Quests Quest 5 Lost Histories
Your next quest from Skrivva is Lost Histories. It is named for a book that a thief, named Theranis, failed to retrieve; now you have to go get it. I'm going to tell you right now to bring at least one lockpick, which you should do every time anyways. The first thing you must do, disregarding obtaining lockpicks, is to travel to Skingrad. Once in Skingrad, find a beggar and give them twenty gold to receive the latest batch of news: Theranis was thrown in jail after bragging about the robbery. There are many ways to see Theranis. Simply dropping by for a visit isn't one of them. You could get arrested, break into the jail, or get a job as the slop drudge. The first two options are rather self-explanatory, the third may need a bit of an explanation.
Ask anyone in the castle about getting some work, and they will direct you to Shum gro-Yarug. Ask about Shum to find out his schedule (West Weald Inn at 10 am, Colovian Traders at noon.) and track him down. You could try faxing your resume to him, but it isn't necessary. He should just give you the job. Congratulations! You're hired as a prisoner feeder. Now simply tell the jailor who you are and he'll let you in.
Now that you're in, you may notice something bad: Theranis isn't in his cell. Talk to the only prisoner present, and tell him you are here to rescue him. He should open up a bit more now, and tell you what became of Theranis. It seems that a "pale lady" took him away and hasn't brought him back. Larthjar also says that an Argonian cellmate was also taken a few minutes ago, and he put up a good fight. Follow the blood trail to the end of the hall and activate the candle on the right-hand wall and enter the wine cellar. When the hall ends, use the handle on the left to reveal another passage, this one leading to the butler's quarters. Keep following the blood trail into the cask room. Activate the sconce to the right to open the center one. At the end of the newest secret passage, you will find the pale lady. She isn't really that tough, and should be easily defeated. Activate Theranis' body for the next journal entry.
Once again, Amusei is in trouble. He says that he has a message from Theranis, but he will only tell you if you help him escape. Free him and then make your way out of the castle. I suggest going through wine cellar, though both routes are workable. Try going to the courtyard through the northeastern door on the lobby balcony, as it has a smaller chance of detection. Halfway on the path back into Skingrad, you will get another journal entry and Amusei will now tell you the location of the book: In a bush behind Nerastarel's house. Now go retrieve the book and deliver it to S'krivva for your reward.
